Higham Christmas Fair,

About the event

Dear Barclays Bank,

I am requesting on behalf of Higham Primary School and its PTA members for sponsorship of our Christmas Fair on November 25th 2023, under the section of education, non profit Charity and Community.

We are a local small village school, hoping to provide a fun family filled interactive fair, we have already organised many things to make this event enjoyable for the community and the residents surrounding community.

We have chosen to support local charity's as well as trying to support our school as we feel this is just as important. 

We can confirm the following for the event regarding the chosen charity's we would like to support

* Ellenor Hospice will be providing Santas Grotto (all proceeds to go towards the charity £7 per family ticket)

*Ghostbusters Medway – A Real life Ghostbusters car, dressed up character’s including the team, Staypuft, and a 12ft interactive Polar bear. They are a Charity that support Hospice and the Weald, they bring their own stall to sell handmade items again all proceeds go towards the Charity, they are extremely interactive with the crowd and provided plenty of photo opportunities.

* Serve Kent, another Charity who support emergency Services for Highway/ Motorway accidents. They will be attending with motorbikes for the children to climb on. We will have contribution buckets out and hopefully raise some awareness for the Charity. 

*We will be using tokens for games and rides, these tokens will be in the form of milk bottle lids which will also be sent to a charity at the choice of the headmistress.

*Medway can sing are a local Charity Choir who will be performing for 30mins

* Medway Bands are a brass band charity who will also be performing an hour's set

We plan on contributing monies to all the charity’s supporting us on the day.

Interactive elements 

* Ghostbusters Medway

* Robot wars arena - also able to buy DIY battle bots

* Lego room (Lego sponsored to us from local Library)

* Craft room (sponsored by local library)

* Princess Xmas workshop (£5 for 40min workshop including games and songs with real life princess's)

* Rodents & Reptiles Room

* Mascot naughty elf / Grinch who will be interactive with the audience for the whole time being, naughty and causing havoc, mischief and lots of fun with a few songs in between.

Stall & games will also be provided to add to the Christmas festivities an outside bar with all the entertainment surrounding inc Face painting, Xmasd pre tree ordering, penalty shootout with local football team, involvement from a STEM ambassador and much more!

Why should you sponsor?

We are hoping to gain sponsorship for an ice rink to be provided we feel this would be a great opportunity to raise money for the school to provide a much needed re vamp of its playground as well as allowing us to contribute to the local charity's.

I have been a part of the school’s PTA for the last two years and very much enjoy helping to create events that the children enjoy taking part in, providing the same enjoyment for the local community and its residents as well as helping the school to raise much needed funds to help towards benefiting the pupils at Higham school such as raising money towards workshop costs and outings so the cost isn’t so high for the parents for the child to attend
