About the event
Herts for Heroes is an initiative we want to launch at the University of Hertfordshire in 2016, following the success of Hockey for Heroes up and down the UK our University Hockey Club have decided to support the cause.
The plan is to launch the campaign with an Exhibition Match against the official Herts for Heroes team on our own campus and invite well known players to come down and join in, from this we are then planning a trip consisting of 12 hockey matches over 3 days at several clubs (largely those which we are members of at home) charging a charitable fee to come and watch at each location.
Our aim is that this will then expand for many other clubs within our Athletic union as we inspire others to get involved and support our troops whilst taking part in an activity that they love.
We’re looking for sponsorship for everything from team kit to nightly accommodation on our trip in order to make this a success.Why should you sponsor?
