Reboot Jackson is a Recovery Community Organization (RCO) in Jackson County founded in 2018. Reboot is staffed by persons in long term recovery who use their experience to provide support and recovery to others impacted by substance use and mental health challenges. Reboot is an acronym for Recovery Empowerment Building Opportunities Of Teamwork and provides resources, services and advocates for individualized paths of recovery.

Founders Jon and Jenn Langston are both in long term recovery, met in recovery, and saw a need in Jackson County for a variety of resources to help others on their journey to their own long-term recovery. Jon is a product of the Commerce community who grew up with many of the leaders of Jackson County. After receiving his CARES certification, he felt the need to return to his community to make amends for past acts of indiscretion while under the influence of drugs. Jenn, also a former drug user, turned to abstinence after her child was born and worked with the Georgia Council on Substance Abuse and received certification from the Department of Behavioral Health to offer peer support at the local hospital. They have pulled together a team of long-term recovery peer specialists to identify the needs and provide the support that they themselves wished they had received during their journey. 

Reboot Jackson is organized around the concept of a Recovery Community Organization and adheres to its goals of recovery-focused advocacy activities, recovery focused community education and outreach programs, and peer-based recovery support services.
