About the event
Halloween Mayhem is a 21 and over costume dance party, hosted by the Porters Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary as one of their annual fundraisers, and draws crowds of all backgrounds.
The funds raised during this event directly support the firefighters of Porters Community Fire Company in many ways, including, but not limited to: building maintenance and upgrades, equipment acquisition and maintenance, and training, as well as fire prevention and community relations based activities.
Why should you sponsor?
The Porters Community Fire Company was founded on May 10, 1949, and is an all volunteer fire company located in York County, Pennsylvania, in the village of Porters Sideling. Porters Community Fire Company provides coverage to over 15 square miles of Heidelberg Township.
Heidelberg Township has approximately 3300 residents, and includes parts of Codorus State Park. We provide mutual aid to North Codorus Township, Jackson Township, Codorus Township, Paradise Township, Jefferson Borough, and other local municipalities. But we couldn't do it, without sponsors like you.
We are actively seeking sponsors for Halloween Mayhem, in order to build on the prior success of the event. Doing so will allow us to support our firefighters even more.
By sponsoring Halloween Mayhem, not only do you assist us in raising much needed (and appreciated) funds to support our mission, but you also become a "partner" in our community by ensuring that we are able to host our event(s) which directly support our firefighters and their mission of saving lives and property.
As a 13 year member of Porters Community Fire Company, I have had the pleasure of serving my local community. I have assumed several roles over there years, including Emergency Medical Technician (EMT), Emergency Medical Services Lieutenant and Captain, Committee Member and most recently, Vice President of the Auxiliary.
It's my mission (and goal) to assist my fire company and it's firefighters in raising funds to continue their efforts in serving the local communities by fundraising and advocating for our volunteers.
