“Hairspray Jr.”"
It's 1962, and spunky, plus-size teen, Tracy Turnblad, has one big dream — to dance on the popular "Corny Collins Show." When she finally gets her shot, she's transformed from social outcast to sudden star. In balancing her newfound power with her desire for justice, Tracy fights to dethrone the reigning Miss Teen Hairspray, Amber von Tussle, and integrate a TV network in the process. With the help of her outsized mom, Edna, and guest DJ, Motormouth Maybelle, the rhythm of Tracy's new beat just might prove unstoppable

Greetings from Alfresco Productions!, Our 2020 season has begun, and we are looking for the perfect sponsors! As a registered 501C3 non-profit, one of our main objectives is to give the youth of Granite City and the Greater St. Louis communities. One thing that makes our children’s productions unique, is they are 100% directed and produced by the kids who are involved. One college student supervises to ensure a quality production but the sets, costumes, dances, etc. are all put on by these amazing children!
Evan FiferI am a graduate of Southern Illinois University Edwardsville. I majored in theatre production with a minor in business administration. I have directed over 30 shows in the past 12 years and have a track record of success with every one of them. I currently am the new Productions Manager for Alfresco Productions and am in charge of overall quality of production, sponsorships, budgeting, marketing and finance for the company.
