About the event
The 1st Annual H.E.R.O.E.S. Benefit Concert is being held to raise funds for the H.E.R.O.E.S. Scholarship. The scholarship was created to help fiances/ significant others of fallen soldiers obtain higher education. The acronym stands for honoring our loved ones, empowering ourselves, renewing our love of life, overcoming our hardships, evolving our spirit, and supporting each other.
Alexandra lost her fiance Cpl. Justin Clouse during his second deployment to Afghanistan in 2014. As she started to get her life back together by pursuing higher education, she realized that no scholarships existed for the fiances/ significant others of fallen soldiers. She decided to create the scholarship herself and support others in similar situations.
This year's concert is featuring Nashville recording artist Sandy Wells as well as famous country singer Chris Ledoux's son Ned Ledoux. The concert will take place in Colorado Springs, Colorado. The expected audience will generally have some sort of military affiliation and/or country music/ lifestyle ties.
