About the event

Guns and Money Charity Classic is a Sporting Clay Shooting Competition where 100% of the money raised goes to support the Charities of Lions International and the Oak Cliff Lions Club Foundation. The Oak Cliff Lions Club is a 90 year old service organization supporting charities in Dallas, Texas and around the world. Our Focus is on the blind and visually impaired with additional charities supporting hunger, childhood cancer, the environment, diabetes and youth programs. This competition is both adult and junior divisions, 13 stations, 100 targets per shooter, 4 person teams.

100% of the money earned goes to the Charities that the Oak Cliff Lions Club supports. The Club focuses on the blind and visually impaired through community vision clinics. The money earned will help children whose families cannot afford vision care get glasses. Additional club charities support hunger in our neighborhood, childhood cancer, youth programs, diabetes and the environment.

Teri Lipscomb

I am a third generation Lion Club member. My grand father was International Director, my father is a 30 year member - so the Lions Club is in my blood line.  I am an active member of the Lions Club, with roles on several committees in the organization including being on the Guns and Money Charity Classic committee. In my professional life, I am a Realtor with Keller Williams in Dallas, Texas. The Lions Club is a 100 year old International Service Organization our  particular branch the Oak Cliff Lion's Club has been existence for 90 years. We are well intrenched in the community.
