About the event
Green Indonesia bazaar is a fundraising event that is designed for families and friends to enjoy on a nice Sunday. The event content will include performances by Selendang Sutra of Indonesian Community dancers, an Indonesian singer and comedian, mix with performances from Music on the run’s talent which will include students from the Quintilian school. There will also be a fashion show of Indonesian traditional clothes modeled by Quintilian students, stalls which will sells foods as well as arts and crafts from Indonesia and other countries.
The aim is to build awareness of the Green Indonesia waste aware program for primary schools in eastern part of Indonesia. The event also aims to raise money for the print of a second edition of Green Indonesia materials, so we are able to offer the Green Indonesian program on waste freely to 320 Indonesian schools at Kabupaten Sikka and Lematta, Flores, Indonesia.
The event will also promote Indonesian arts and cultures in Western Australia.
