About the event
Animal Harbor's Grand Opening Fall Festival Adoption Event. Fun for the whole family. Activities will include adoptions, tours of the new facility, hayrides, dog show (best show and best dressed), best dish of Franklin County, best carved pumpkin contest, blessing of the animals, hot dogs, apple cider, cotton candy etc...
Our mission:
Provide health care and temporary shelter for lost and homeless companion animals
Find new loving homes for these pets
Reduce pet overpopulation by promoting spaying and neutering
Prevent cruelty to animals
Educate the community about animal welfare
For eleven years we have operated out of an old hog auction barn with no climate control and is no longer feasible for us to maintain. We have raised close to $600,000 from within the county communities and are very proud to have received so much support from the citizens and businesses in the county. Because of the amount of money we have raised and how much we have asked of the people in the county, we feel it necessary to seek Event Sponsors to finance our Grand Opening event.
We are very excited to move out of the barn and into a decent facility. PLEASE HELP US PUT ON A GREAT EVENT! We wan to invite everyone from the community to come and enjoy the day and thank all of the people who have given to make this dream become a reality!!!
