    Established in 2013, The Grand Ole Austin is held at local beloved restaurant and live music venue, Maria’s Taco Xpress. Held as a day party during the SXSW music conference, the “GOA” brings in lovers of Americana and Country music from all across the globe, filling Maria’s to its 300 capacity seating. This year’s party will be held Thursday, March 19th from Noon-9pm. This year's lineup is TBA, but we have confirmed Kathy Valentine (The Go Gos) new band, The Bluebonnets.

    Sponsored by Carolina Chickadee Presents and KG Music Press with support from The Grand Ole Echo and TJ West: Carolina Chickadee Presents was established in 2010 by music supporter, and self-proclaimed dot-connector, Julie Richmond, as a vehicle to present local and traveling songwriting talent in her Los Angeles based Melody In The Round songwriter series.  Past projects include booking musical acts for the Los Angeles roots music series Grand Ole Echo, as well as hosting a weekly roots music night in her local music scene. An ongoing champion for live music, the now Austin native’s projects include booking and project management for Houston songwriter Mike Stinson; proving booking and tour support for her favorite traveling artists, and curating and co-present the annual South By Southwest showcase ‘Grand Ole Austin’.

    KG Music Press was established by music lover and advocate, Kim Grant in 2008 and is headquartered in Los Angeles, CA. It is a boutique Public Relations Company focused on the industry of music and founded on the values of reliability, integrity, entrepreneurial spirit and mutual benefits.

    The Grand Ole Echo will be celebrating TEN YEARS of live music this summer and has been the premiere Americana music stop in Los Angeles for almost a decade. It’s one of the most popular, consistent, and respected roots live music series in the second largest city in the country.
    The Grand Ole Echo dedicates itself on creating an environment for artists to showcase their art and be heard. With 5+ stages each week showcasing artists in the genres including but not limited to: Americana, roots, country, blues, folk, singer-songwriter, rock, southern rock, gospel, and many more!
