You are kindly invited to participate in a unique event, the Grand Gala dedicated to the famous Russian poet, A.S Pushkin and his multi-faceted artistic universe, an excellent opportunity to support and become part of Luxembourg’s greatest cultural event of the season.

Following Marina von Kamarowsky’s lifetime passion and love for Pushkin, it was in spring 2013 that MVK Fine Art Luxembourg started collaborating with Victoria Mokrausova and the Moscow Cultural Humanitarian Fund, to organise this grand and exclusive event in Luxembourg, dedicated to the Russian artist.

On April 26, at the prestigious Chateau Septfontaines, the Grand Gala will pay a unique tribute to Pushkin and his fantastic artistic heritage, reuniting a high-class audience of local and international art lovers, personalities and decision makers in business, finance and politics.

Under the High Patronage and in Presence of HE, Dr Marc Entin, Russian Ambassador to Luxembourg, the Grand Charity Gala “Ode à Pouchkine” will feature, explore and revive Russia’s 19th century society and the numerous cultural and artistic themes that were much loved by Pushkin during his life.

“Ode à Pouchkine” is an exclusive event, aimed at honouring this versatile artist who devoted his life to poetry, music, painting and history and will therefore take guests on a journey to a world defined by art, beauty and enchantment.

This eclectic journey will surprise and intrigue participants through majestic and mesmerising «Scènes D’Art» including the wedding dress of Catherine the Great, numerous period costumes, an exhibition of drawings and sketches by well-known Russian artists and students from the Moscow Institute of Cultural Cinematography.Well-known opera interludes such as « Evgueni Onegin » by P. Tchaikovsky, performed by lead singers of the «Novaya Opéra » and ballet sequences from the Bolshoï as well as excerpts from Pushkin’s famous poetry will entertain the guests during the Russian sit-down candlelight dinner.

The Grand Charity Gala: "Ode à Pouchkine" is aimed at raising awareness among Luxembourg’s public on the wonderful cultural and artistic richness of different eras throughout Russia’s fascinating history as well as reinforcing the current exchange between the two countries.

The event has attracted the interest of numerous local and international partners and sponsors wishing to honour Russian culture in Luxembourg, thus bringing a tribute to Pushkin, such as: HE the Russian Ambassador Dr. Marc Entin and the Russian Embassy to the Grand Duchy, the Luxembourg Russia Business Chamber, the Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce, Banque de Luxembourg, Private Trustees S.A, Chateau de Septfontaines, The Russian Club of Luxembourg, Le Centre Culturel Russe, The Pushkin Museum in Moscow, Moscow Institute of Cultural Cinematography, The Bolshöi Theatre and The Novoya Opera.

Funds raised at this Grand Charity Gala will be donated to the Red Cross Luxembourg as well as to the « Kovalovski Orphanage » in Nerehta, Moscow.
