About the event

Hello,

We are in our final year of Fashion Design at University of Brighton and are hard at work on our final collections. As a year group totally disrupted by Covid since the end of our first year, we’ve had to be adaptive in the face of huge challenges. The next big challenge for us is to be able to present our work, both in front of the industry and to you all – demonstrating our design talent and communicating what we, as the class of 2023, have to say!

After so much time in lockdown, we are organizing a fashion show in Brighton, picking an unusual venue and using our skills and connections to create something amazing. We’re doing this for our friends and family, but for us too, to see our creations come to life. Whilst for the industry, we’ll make a short fashion film showcasing the best of our 3D and 2D work – a much needed tool for securing our future careers.

This doesn’t come cheap, nor should it. And so, over the coming months we’ll be tirelessly fundraising to hit our goal of £10,000.
