About the event
Lifestyle and Environmental Exploration to New Zealand 2018 (LEED’18) is an effort to expand our horizons on lifestyle aspects of people of New Zealand and the students of Massey University, New Zealand by social experiments, the research and development of environment and pollution control of one the world’s best city for quality of living university for environment, Auckland University of Technology. This exploration would serve as a medium to extract first hand and in depth knowledge of the varying lifestyle and environmental efforts in Auckland, New Zealand, which we can apply and share back here in UTM, Malaysia.

Objectives of the organizer is to :
To gain experience in other country in terms of their social life, culture, environment and lifestyle.
To gain perspectives and to explore the lifestyle of people or cultural immersion of a developed country such as New Zealand.
To visit and experience firsthand, one of the world's most climate-friendly country.
To explore their current technologies for pollution control and for a sustainable environment.
To build self-esteem and personal growth among the students that can be gained from travelling to a foreign country for research and outlook
To create a networking between the students from Universities in Auckland and UTM.
To introduce and uphold the name of Universiti Teknologi Malaysia and 5 Excellence Tracks Programme (5 ETP) in an international level
