About the event

GooseHacks is a 36 hour virtual hackathon meant for high school students who are interested in technology. At GooseHacks we are an all-inclusive hackathon for students no matter where they are or where they came from. We welcome students regardless of their past programming experience so even if you've never programmed before we encourage you to sign up because it's a good learning experience! Hackers have full creative freedom of their project and can create anything from games, websites, apps, hardware and more!

Goosehacks will be hosting fun events and activites so hackers can take a break from their project. Want to learn something new? Goosehacks is packed with unique workshops so you're bound to come out learning something new.

Hackers will have an oppurtunity to pitch their project to a panel of judges to compete for awesome prizes!

Max Sun

My name is Max Sun and I am a rising senior in the Huron Heights Secondary school. My friend, Petar Isakovic (also same age) and I have attened many hackathons in the past and decided to create our own to give back to the community and inspire the next generation. As a student I'm also very interested in the tech field and hope to share that with the participants in our event. In my spare time I like to program games and websites using code (find most of my games on here https://ratweeb.itch.io/ ).
