About the event

Goody Goody is the new social dance / live music event in the heart of East London. 

From the big success of Salty Mondays, a regular live music event since 2016,  and Mind the Shag, a dance festival that this year, in its second edition, hosted more than 1K people from more than 10 different countries and 8 different international teachers - a night made for lovers of  live jazz music and swing dancing like Balboa, Lindy Hop, and Collegiate  Shag.

Goody Goody was created to share some delightful moments, meet friends, chat and have a drink, and give space to some of the most talented musicians in London.  Music from DJs and some of the best Jazz, Swing and Blues bands in London will enchant our guests every week with 1920-30s jazz, New Orleans jazz, gypsy/guitar jazz, fast swing,  and 1950-60s rhythm & blues.

By supporting Goody Goody not only will you support young creatives and artists but you will also help to re-invigorate a community that too often has to struggle with the high costs of London, which make it difficult for magic moments to be created and for gifted musicians to emerge and showcase their talent.

simona deleo

Simona is a young illustrator based in London since 2014.

In 2015 she discovered the jazz and swing-dance scene in town and was immediately captivated by the talent of the musicians and dancers and the lovely community feeling created at these events. 

In 2016, in collaboration with Salty Jitterbugs Ltd, she created her first social dance event - Salty Mondays, which was a big success from the very first night.

Soon afterwards, they organised together the first international Collegiate Shag  festival in London, now in its 3rd edition, which has hosted more than a thousand guests from all over the world, international teachers and prestigious parties in some of the best venues in London, such as Limehouse Town Hall and Islington Town Hall.
