About the event
Our mission is provide and event where new and experienced golfers can team up with new and experienced shooters, and help Severely Injured Veterans.
Combining a great day on the golf course with a fun shooting event.
Proceeds benefit Homes for Our Troops a 501(c) (3) nonprofit organization whose mission is to build mortgage-free, specially adapted homes nationwide for severely injured Veterans Post-9/11, to enable them to rebuild their lives.
We hand pick a LOCAL combat wounded Veteran to host our event for, and our event proceeds will go directly to the land purchase and construction costs of building that Veteran’s future home.
Why should you sponsor?
Every dollar donated to this event helps cut our out of pocket cost, which will greatly increase the amount given to our selected Combat Wounded Veteran.
We will adequetly advertise for each and every sponsor as well as place the sponsor logo on items in our goody bag give away.
Mike MillikanI am a Veteran with a call to help other Post-9/11 veterans who came home in much worse condition than I. I love golf and shooting. Some of my favorite events have been charity golf and shooting events. Helping someone improve their life feels amazing, but having fun doing so is special. That is why I come up with Golf and Guns, to help Combat Wounded Veterans, using my passion as a platform.
