About the event
The 'Golden Bridge Trade & Award' is awarded annually to the most successful Belgian or Luxembourg company exporting to the United Kingdom, in either the service or manufacturing sector.
The award was created by the Belgian-Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce in Great Britain (BLCC) in 1997 to acknowledge the work of companies exporting from Belgium and Luxembourg to the UK. It recognises and celebrates the success of Belgian and Luxembourg business in the UK and the vital importance of enterprise and export to our economy. Whether large or small, every finalist has achieved outstanding success in exporting to the UK. They are the standard bearers for the very best of Belgian and Luxembourg exports.
Former winners and finalists have confirmed that the award has enhanced their image both at home and in the UK market and is an incentive for their staff. Many companies who have won the Golden Bridge Export Award and experienced the benefits decide to sponsor or support the awards year after year.
We are working closely with the British Chamber of Commerce in Belgium to maximise sponsor exposure in the UK, Belgium and Luxembourg. Our sponsorship offer provides visibility from now until the awards ceremony and beyond, and will include extensive promotion to potential applicants, high visibility at the event, and significant media coverage before and after the Awards in the UK and Belgium.
