Global Management Challenge is the world’s largest strategy and management competition based on a simulation that mirrors a typical manufacturing company. More than 600,000 university students and youngprofessionalshave participated in the competitionfrom more than 30 countriesthroughoutthe world over the last 30 years.
The competition is open to company managers, entrepreneurs and university students organized as teams of 3 to 5 members managing a company as its senior management. In their capacity as the management of the virtual company, the participants take decisions relating to the sales and marketing, production, human resourcesand financesof the company.
The competition is organized globally by SDG – Simuladores e Modelos de Gestão, a Portuguese company specializing in innovative methods for competence development based on the virtual business simulations. Over the years the competition has established as a major event in several countries supported by local media and corporate sponsorswith participantsfrom industry and academia.
