About the event
The Glasgow rape crisis centre is celebrating 40 years of support for women and girls aged 13 and over who have been raped, sexually assaulted or sexually abused at some point in their lifetime. Providing advice and support to victims and their families in up to 10 different languages the centre can only operate due to small amounts of government funding, local fundraising efforts and its dedicated volunteers and patrons.
This 40th anniversary event will be held at 29 in Glasgow city centre with the guest list including some high profile patrons and members of Scottish Parliament who will enjoy an afternoon tea, some live music and help the centre launch a new campaign.
