About the event

Give Cancer the Boot Beach Party is our biggest annual fundraiser. All proceeds from the event go directly to our program services. The mission of Lazarex Cancer Foundation is to improve the outcome of cancer care, giving hope, dignity and life to late stage cancer patients and the medically underserved by providing reimbursement for out-of-pocket costs for FDA clinical trial participation, identification of clinical trial options, community outreach and education. The Lazarex CARE Program helps patients who need access to today’s cutting edge medicines in clinical trials to continue their fight with cancer. We provide financial assistance to patients by reimbursing travel expenses (gas, flights, lodging, tolls, etc.). 

Why should you sponsor?

Lazarex Cancer Foundation is the only non-profit in the country who bridges the gap in cancer care for late stage patients who want to stay engaged in their fight with cancer. We provide hope and a chance at life to patients who have otherwise been told there is no more hope. Founded in 2006, we have helped over 3,500 patients get to clinical trial treatments all over the country. 

Erin Miller

My name is Erin Miller, Development Manager for Lazarex Cancer Foundation. It is because of my husband Mike's cancer journey that we realized this gap in cancer care. Lazarex was founded in his memory. I have served as a board member, fundraiser, volunteer and employee. Helping people who are in the same situation that I found myself and my family in years ago is my mission.
