In 2016, “Girl Talk” was created to provide healing and wholeness to hurting women that have experienced trauma as a result of abuse and neglect through past or current relationships. Trauma stemming from emotional, physical or mental abuse hinders women from reaching their full potential in their roles as leaders and backbones of our communities. As we work toward global impact and sustainability for our cause, we aim to be a driving force in the development of the total woman.
Last year, Girl Talk had over 200 women from over eight different communities in the Minneapolis St. Paul area. We are projecting to have even more women this year. The theme this year is, “I Am Enough” and our mission is to educate women by providing practical insight on various topics, self-care practices, and mindful living -along with openly discussing the challenges women face today and how we can over come them with God’s help. This opportunity for collaboration allows your brand to be associated with the holistic health and empowerment of women.
