About the event
GH4GH Golden Gala 2016 celebrating Ghana’s 59th Independence
The celebration will feature a celebrity host highlighting significant
achievements of Ghanaian in the sectors of: business, health,
entrepreneurship, education, achievements in politics, entertainment,
and sports. Throughout the celebration, an award segment will
honor individuals who are dedicated to connecting Ghanaian in
the African diaspora that promote entrepreneurship and Ghanaian
owned businesses.
The event is set to host over 1500 guests and will feature live
drummers, a performance by a globally recognized West African
Dance Company, and a live DJ that will be entertaining guests &
honorees with international sounds in between segments.The success of our impending celebration is the emanation of the
collectiveeffortsofGH4GH, our generous sponsors and the countless
Ghanaians we call family here in Washington, DC. We have begun
laying the foundation for a successful series of festivities and we are
able to continue this tradition of excellence through the assistance
