About the event
For over fifty years the Sunshine Festival has been a proud community event, showcasing all the Midwest has to offer.
This year we will have a new vibrant hub at the new state of the art Multi User Facility, located on the pristine Geraldton Foreshore.
We promise to bring you a vibrant celebration with an abundance of free and ticketed events for all ages. Dont forget the Sunshine Festival Parade to take place on Sunday 2nd October 2016. Full of colour, music and dancing this is a must see event.
Whether you live here, are coming to visit or just love Geraldton, taking part in Geraldton's annual Sunshine Festival is a worthwhile experience.
Why should you sponsor?
It is great not for profit community event held in the school holidays. It caters for families, young children, teens, young adults and adults Therefore a vast range of ages/socio ecominc backgrounds are able to participate. For a small regional town it allows the community to enjoy something new and exciting each year. How ever we heavily rely on funding to make this possible for all the community to enjoy.
As a regional town it is great exposure to sponsor an activity/event. The community is close knit with 35,000 in the immediate vicinity of Geraldton and 55,000 in its surrounds.

Some of the activites we have to outsource and unfortunately a cost is involved in which we require sponsorship to be able to cover these costs.
