Calling all Female ballers from grades 8-11. Do you have the best jump shot on your squad?

Is your D so tight that no one can dribble past you, or are the go to triple threat on your team? Boxout Brand will be holding a Girl's Basketball showcase Spring 2017. Looking for the girls who thinks they got what it takes to show the rest of the GTA what they got.

Why should you sponsor?

An exciting exhibition Basketball event is being created by the founder of “BoxOut Brand”, Danielle Chong assisted by brother, Richard Chong. There is an unconditional love for the game of Basketball and the need and potential for a special showcase is calling. GDIB is being created to build on the evolving talent of young female Canadian ballers in the Greater Toronto Area.

This will be a one day exclusive invitational exhibition event with some of the GTA’s finest female basketball players. There will be former and current NCAA, OCAA, and CIS guest speakers partaking in the event sharing their love for the game and individual stories of success. Our focus is to aim for skilled and talented girls who play basketball and are in between the grades 8-11 and give them equal opportunity generating awareness around their Basketball skills, talent and potential as many high school boys have.

We are hopeful this event will generate more exposure for developing skilled female basketball players, help provide opportunities for them to take Basketball to the next level, and help prove the point that girls can do anything that boys can do and be great at it!

Danielle Chong

My name is Danielle Chong and I am a recent graduate from Brock University with a Bachelor in Sports Management and Labour studies. Throughout my life I have developed a passion for the game of basketball as I have played for multiple affiliated club teams. My passion and love for the game, has motivated me to pursue a career within the basketball community, in hopes to create better opportunities for girls’ basketball within the GTA.    
 
BoxOut Brand is a Toronto based client relations marketing/events sport inspired brand. The organization name derives from Basketball terminology consisting of “when a player positions their body against an opponent, in an optimal space on the floor between the opponent and the basket, in order to secure a rebound.” I created BoxOut brand as a digital resume, to represent who I am, what makes me passionate and to outline the independent projects I have been a part of.
