About the event
Game Over is a fundraiser with all proceeds supporting The Alzheimer's Society of Toronto and George Brown Student Scholarships!
The Alzheimer's Society of Toronto is one of the forefront organizations that helps all those affected by the disease daily. This not only includes support for people with Alzheimer's disease, but their families, friends and caretakers.
Game Over's night of nostalgia will include classic arcade games, retro music, entertainment, fun foods, a raffle and silent auction to help reach our goal of raising $3000!
Our event is targeted towards millennials that were not able to experience the great things that happened during the 70’s, 80’s and 90’s while opening their eyes towards those that live with Alzheimer’s disease; and how they experience the unfortunate reality of forgetting.
We are in the beginning stages of planning this event and expecting between 250 - 300 guests during April in downtown Toronto. Attendees will include professionals in the hospitality, event planning, and business fields.
