About the event
The Gainesville Improv Festival enters its 10th annual celebration of improvisational and sketch theater with the goal of providing laughter and education in the home of the University of Florida’s Theatre Strike Force, Gainesville, Florida.
Over the festival's 10 year run, improvisers from around the country have flocked to Gainesville to enjoy an extended weekend of performances, workshops, and camaraderie.
The festival is a showcase of the best improv troupes and sketch groups in the state of Florida as well as improv meccas such as Los Angeles, New York, and Chicago. The 2015 Gainesville Improv Festival is set to continue the rich tradition created at the inaugural festival in 2003.
