This is the 9th Annual 5K that SOMA will be hosting and all of the proceeds will benefit MedShare this year. MedShare is a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving healthcare and the environment through the efficient recovery and redistribution of the surplus of medical supplies and equipment to those most in need. Students at GA-PCOM continue to volunteer at MedShare and are dedicated to helping our communities in whatever way we can. This year, we hope to make a bigger impact by hosting this 5K and donating the proceeds to MedShare, who in turn is making a huge impact for those in need all around the world.
