Fun Run,

About the event

We are planning to organize a Fun-Run Event on behalf of CompSci Graduate Student Organization, Iowa State University. This event aims at bringing together students from department of Computer Science for a 3k marathon around the campus. We aim at providing the participants tshirts, food and some goodies during the marathon at the cost of a nominal registration fee of $10 per head. This event basicaly aims at socialising the students of the department with each other.

Why should you sponsor?

Sponsoring this event would help the concerned sponsor to gain popularity among the students of Computer Science and other departments as well. Providing with substantial quantities of goodies with the company logo would gain the sponsor the highlight of being popular among the student community and hence providing the sponsor with opportunities of being a part of future events organized by the organization.

The name of this organization is Computer Science - Graduate Student Organization (CS-GSO). This was previously known as GAC and now in the process of becoming official been renamed as Computer Science - Graduate Student Organization. The purpose of this organization aims at providing the members with opportunities to participate in activities that develop their intellectual and professional abilities. CS-GSO is a student run organization that pursues the interests of graduate students in the department of Computer Science. The CS-GSO organizes orientation programs for new students, a number of academic and administrative services, and hosts a variety of socio-intellectual events throughout the year.
