About the event
Full of Grace 5K is a run dedicated to raising money for ovarian cancer research at MD Anderson Cancer Center. It's named in honor of my mother, Graça Pereira, who passed away from ovarian cancer in 2012.
The run will take place in Houston's Energy Corridor, where there aren't typically 5K runs, even though people in this area enjoy running. For this second annual event, I expect 100 runners and will advertise on Facebook, through local media and through social media as well.
