FuckUp Night Event Bali 2018,

  • About the event

    FuckUp Night Bali (FUN) is Bali's bi-monthly talk organized by Hubud: Coworking and Community Space in Ubud, Bali. During this event, failures will be celebrated. We invite speakers from all over the world to talk about their FuckUps.

    The reason why we think this event is valuable is because the speakers will openly tell about their failures, which we think is great. They show us that failing is part of life, and to be grateful for them as well, because that is how we learn.

    FuckUp Night in Bali has some history, with 8 FUN Ubud events organized by Hubud to date to share inspirational stories in different fields such as business, personal, orboth. We have welcomed 700 attendees and 40 speakers from all over the world.

    For the first time we are excited to announce that FUN Bali is opening annual partnership opportunities for organizations. We will have 4 FuckUp Nights in 2018, and we will kick off with the first one on the 1st of March. With 5 amazing speakers planned we will have a full night of sharing inspirational FuckUp stories together, because we should embrace this rather than putting it away.

    During FuckUp Night Bali, the speakers mostly consist of the Hubud community. It’s a space where Ubudians share their stories and gather with like minded individuals, whether they are travelers, change makers, risk takers or entrepreneurs. Here is a snapshot of the kind of people you could reach at FuckUp Night: 

    Age Range : 12 to 60 years old

    Location independents : Creative remote workers that are seeking for more freedom in their job. They come to explore and set up something new.

    Risk Takers : They take risks by temporarily leaving their life in their home country behind so they can be free and start new things.

    International Community : Long-term Bali visitors who care about contributing to the local community

    Hubud Members : We currently have 200+ members coming from 75+ countries around the world.

    Hey! My name is Claudia Yusron and I'm one of the organisers of FuckUp Night Bali 2018 as well as the Partnership Team in Hubud : Coworking and Community Space in Ubud Bali. 

    Hubud is the first coworking space in Bali, and one of the pioneers of the coworking and innovation movement in Asia Pacific. Our space is home to over 250 members from 30+ countries seeking for work-life balance in paradise. They are an interesting mix of digital nomads, techies, startup owners, location-independent entrepreneurs, creatives and change makers.
