About the event

Many of you may wonder what frosh week is… Well Frosh week, also called Social Orientation week, is an opportunity for incoming students to spend 9 jam-packed days together attending all sorts of amazing events like team challenges, parties, and Wasaga beach. Aside from the social aspect of the week, all the activities help to integrate yourself into the York University life. 

Throughout the week, we have multiple events planned that sponsors can participate in, some host more people than others, our main event is the Double Quad Party.

We are hosting the biggest party on campus, with 10 colleges and faculties in attendence equalling to over 3000 students. There are two sound, three DJs, guest rapper apperances, and two quads all combined to make one big party. 

Why should you sponsor?

Sponsors should sponsor our event becasue frosh week is targeted at incoming university students. The total reach for the party alone is over 3000 people with frosh and student volunteer leaders of upper years. 

Sponsorship is a way to work alongside York University and communicate to students that your company is a place that cares about the individual stories, journeys and experiences of each of them.

This week acts as a catalyst, influencing the next 4 years of their lives. Always with a great response and turnout, Orientation Week is a great way to expose your company to the newest generation of incoming York students. We welcome you to help make a difference.

Our names are Brittany and Aliah and we the Orientation Chairs for the 2016-17 academic year for Founders College at York University. We are beyond excited to have the opportunity to plan the greatest frosh week Founders College has ever seen. 

Student orientation or Frosh Week is 9 days at the beginning of the academic year at a university during which a variety of events are held to orient and welcome new students. Frosh week is where we both met and since then we’ve become attached to the hip! We can guarentee that anyone who attends frosh week will leave with memories and connections that will last a lifetime.
