About the event

Our organization, Freedom and Fashion, uses the arts of fashion and beauty, we empower youth overcoming trafficking, homelessness, and other injustices. Our Mentorship Programs exist to take students from a place of discouragement into a reality of power. Through three different programs---fashion, beauty, and styling---youth explore trade-driven industries while implementing important discussions of identity, empowerment, and self-image (Please see deck attached).

We're looking for innovative, social-justice oriented businesses to partner with in raising funds for our biggest fundraiser for the year with ... drum roll please... Style Fashion Week! 

Would you join us in giving back to our youth and partnering with us for our October 13, 2018 LA Fashion Week Debut?

 Our Annual Fashion Show is a celebration of our students' power, creativity, and their journey of overcoming. 

Simultaneously, we raise awareness on the injustices they are overcoming. (i.e. sex trafficking, homelessness, drug and alcohol addiction, physical abuse, etc.) and funds for the programs that follow.

Join us in championing our designers as they reveal their 2018 Freedom and Fashion Collection. This year is extra special because we’re turning 10! We are partnering with our friends at Style Week to make it a night to remember and we’d be honored if you saved the date for us!

Why should you sponsor?

This event is our biggest fundraiser of the year and funds are mentorship programs for our youth. This event has great exposure as part of LA Fashion Week and is expected to have event attendance between 500-1,000 guests. We are in need of sponsors that align with our mission!

My name is Ryan Johnson and I'm currently getting my M.A. in Social Entrepreneurship at Pepperdine University and have the pleasure of working with Freedom & Fashion.
