About the event

In essence, our chili cook-off is a culinary competition centered around chili, frequently held as a fun community event with the option to raise money for our building maintenance. Participants compete by cooking their own unique chili recipe, which is then tasted and judged by a panel, with the best chili being declared the winner.

My name is Justin Farrar and I am the Adjutant for Fred A. Harrell VFW Post 7769 in Beebe, Arkansas.  I am a proud veteran of the Iraq War.  We are attempting to have this chili cook-off to raise funds for building maintenance, especially our roof.  

The mission of the VFW is to foster camaraderie among United States veterans of overseas conflicts.  To serve our veterans, the military and our communities.  To advocate on behalf of all veterans. 

Our vision is the ensure that veterans are respected for their service, always receive their earned entitlements, and are recognized for thesacrifices they and atheir love3s ones have made on behalf of this great country.
