For Christ I Will Go!,

About the event

Hi Everyone!!!
    I'm Skylar Greer and I am
a senior in high school trying to raise funds to help send me to
Guatemala this summer on a mission tip. I am a straight A honor student, I
play varsity Tennis in the number 1 seed, varsity basketball, and varsity
track. I am the 1st place recipient at regional competition and 2nd place
at state competition recipient in job interview for Future Business Leaders
of America. I am also part of the academic clubs Beta Club (GPA of at
least 3.8), National Honor Society (GPA of at least 4.2), Mu Alpha Theta,
National Technical Honor Society, president of the Science Club and History
club. I also participate in FFA and FCA. 

    I’m not only seeking financial support, but
also your prayers. I am pleased to inform you that God has opened the door for
me to be able to go to Guatemala this July!  This is not my first mission
trip but it is my first mission trip and first time being outside of the United
States and also the eastern half of the country!  Words honestly could not
describe the amount of excitement I feel to be given such an amazing
opportunity. God has truly blessed me. GOD IS GOOD!!! But I need your
help.
    Over the years I have developed a thriving
passion to help those in need regardless of the sacrifice and while doing so
sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ. I also have a passion for environmental and
civil engineering which has fueled my love for missions because I was to help
bring clean drinking water to these 3rd world countries and villages while also
building bridges to connect them to important roads and cities to trade their
goods and make a living. This is exactly why I have developed such a love
for mission work and also because I have been so very blessed with both the
experience and the fellowship of many new friends.
    Going outside my community isn't the only
mission work I do. I also aid in nursing homes, soup kitchens such as the
Hesses House, and my local church. Thanks to local facilities I have been able
to do local mission work with younger kids at my school and church along with
my younger siblings. Being the oldest of three girls to a single
parent has enabled me to share with my sisters the importance of sharing
God's word and setting a Godly example for those to follow. However being
the oldest of three to a single mother has showed an enormous amount of
difficulty in the financial aspect. 

   
WHAT

*Any medical (shots) needed to enter a 3rd world country
*Supplies that I will need such as bottles of water 
***And any extra will be donated to the community where I will be staying to
help further the advancement in bringing clean drinking water to the village. 
          I am super excited to embark on this new jouney to
Guatemala this summer but I really need your help in order to raise the
money by June 10th. I have a very short deadline that must be met and
without your help I may not be able to met that deadline. Any amount of
contributions made will help out immensely. If you cannot help financially your
prayers are greatly in need of also. PRAYER WORKS!

Please help further my dream and
passion of going to Guatemala this summer.
