I am raised in the midwest, born in the Congo and now enjoying life out west. I have always been actively involved in philanthropy ever since our high school required sophomore service program. I started as a candy striper and since then I've volunteered at ParenTeen, United Way, Ronald McDonald House, and Nationwide Children's Hospital NICU; just to name a few. Giving back to the community still remains a very important part of my life.
Professionally, I have an event planning and marketing company called Yowa Events. Prior to starting this company I've worked within professional services such as law firms and one of the big 4 accounting firms. I take pride in my work and especially my trustworthiness.
As an event planner, I would really like for this organization to raise a lot of money so that we can give each of the 4 recipient organizations a very nice donation because they are doing amazing work for children and the under-served.
