About the event

Raised In A Barn Farm is planning a multi-acre corn maze designed by GPS which will have significant impact for the local community in fundraising for our favorite charities and the farm.  This is will be named FOLLOW ME TO THE CORN with ZOMBIE FRIGHT NIGHTS.

Sponsors will be honored with advertising, banners, mention on T-shirts and social media and special recognition from Raised In A Barn Farm.  It is our goal to share our fundraising with Chocowinity Fire & EMS, Angels N Camo, Raised In A  Barn 4H Club, and Chocowinity school programs at the farm.  Last year, we raised approximately $2500  FOR DONATIONS from the farm with the aid of Chocowinity Fire & EMS and Angels N Camo, all planned in just a couple of weeks with our Six Nights of Fright, Haunted Trail, during October.  Turnout was outstanding and very enthusiastic, with thousands attending, many on multiple nights.  This time, we hope to have a very exciting daytime and nighttime corn maze, activities for all ages, Zombie Trail, hayrides, concessions, music, and more for the families of our community at the farm.  After over 1200 people attended our one day event for Easter activities, we realized we have tremendous community support and desire for more events at the farm.  We are trying to build and recreate traditions at the farm, along with providing nutritious local foods and produce for the community. 

Our anticipated costs for planting, planning and running this month-long event is approximately $10,000, with much of the costs hopefully decreased by generous hearts and volunteered labor and supplies. We need start-up funding to get corn crop planted in July and design of our maze completed at that time. 

Raised In A Barn Farm is running on extensive family support, neighbors and friends, amazing volunteers, and a whole lot of sweat equity.  We appreciate your support of our local community farm as we support our local businesses, families and schools with our farm store and events.
