About the event
The Long Beach Folk Revival Festival is a fun, family-friendly, music festival that showcases the best in Folk, Roots, Americana, & Bluegrass music acts. In addition to the great music, all the fan favorites from last year are back including our signature contests, amazing gourmet food, interactive kids area, vintage shopping & so much more.
This festival is all about bringing the family and community together to enjoy a slice of “True American Music”. We have seen the revival of folk music several times in the last century and once again music plucked out on a banjo or crooned over an old guitar is gaining popularity. Folk music bridges the gap between young adults and seniors because the simplicity of the music is something all generations can identify with. This is why the Folk Revival Festival attracts a diverse demographic with middle to upper level income that include families, seniors, teenagers, and young adults.
Two years ago we packed almost 2,000 people in a location that holds 1,500 and this past year we saw over 3,000 in attendance at our much larger location.

Fan Base
Folk Revival fans come in all walks of life and the festival tends to draw a very diverse crowd in every sense. The majority of our crowd consists of the 30-60 age range who are general fans of the music style and we have seen the biggest growth in family attendance.
With the growing popularity of Folk music we also draw well from the 21-25 age group. These are college, and post-college aged singles that love collecting unique “experiences” that they can share with friends. This produces a unique blend of young and old that are in love with all things vintage, old timey, & genuine.
