Fleckney Carnival,

About the event

Fleckney Carnival is going to be massive this year. There's over 40 market stalls ranging from baked goods to jewellery, clothes, make up, gifts and more. There will be a carnival parade which goes through the village which has a population of over 5,000 people. There will be live entertainment on a stage from bands and dancers, hot and cold food, fairground attractions, donkeys, kids land train and more! We expect at least 1,000 people to attend and there is a stage in the the centre front of the event in which certain sponsors can put up banners (see sponsor packages. Also the sponsors logo will be in the front of the free brochure that gets handed out to everyone who attends the event. There is also a big social media campaign which gets seen by over 6,000 people and is currently going viral. This is a very popular community event in which the local groups, like the dance group, scouts, beavers and the local school get involved with. In terms of advertising there is 10,000 leaflets that get delivered to all houses in the local area including Fleckney, Kibworth, Great Glen and Wigston. There is a social media campaign with an event page, Banners get put up in high volume areas on busy roads and around the local villages and towns, and poster get put up in local shops.
