About the event

For our spring fundraiser RJCA is returning to the Midtown Global Market on Thursday, May 11^th for an evening of great food and company! This year participants will travel the market to sample food and meet the many of communities of the Twin Cities through the wonderful cuisines of local vendors.  Each traveler will have a chance to purchase raffle tickets for a chance to win one of the 2 grand prizes while exploring the Midtown Global Market.

RJCA is celebrating 20 years of bringing people together to make things right. Over that time, we have grown from a neighborhood program, The Central City Neighborhood Partnership Community Conferencing Program, serving the core neighborhoods of downtown Minneapolis to a Twin Cities wide organization serving Minneapolis and St. Paul as well as throughout Hennepin and Ramsey Counties. During this time, we have maintained our grass roots, community focus partnering with neighborhoods in the Twin Cities.

Lara Dreier

I have served on the board of directors for RJCA for five years, and also volunteer as a facilitator in restorative conferences with offenders and victims. I've seen first hand the power of RJCA's conferencing model, and how it provides meaningful outcomes for all parties, driving a more engaged and connected community, rather than the divisions that result from traditional adjudication. I believe wholeheartedly in the mission of RJCA and its leadership, and encourage you to help bring restorative justice to even more individuals and communities.
