About the event

Coming Soon to the Youngstown's Ohio area, First Annual Reggae Fest hosted by Youngstown's own Flambeau's Live home of the best Caribbean food in town. Presented by XmarxtheSpot Ent a newly formed LLC in Ohio. This event will feature Reggae Greats such as Sister Nancy, & Teflon, along with a special tribute to Bob Marley by Seefari and many more acts to be announced will also have DJ Stage vendors, Caribbean food, exotic refreshments, and awesome entertainment!! Also, we will use this platform to bring awareness to Melanoma Cancer. We invite all survivors out to take part and celebrate music, life, & freedom! Together this collaboration along with the help of our sponsors will put on a show unlike ever scene in the Youngstown's area. Why should you sponsor?

We hope to gain the support of our community. This event is for OUR community and all neighboring. This occasion will be more than a Reggae Fest it will solidify that change can be achieved and through that change the rebirth and renewal of a community is capable. Participants can take part in a Non-Violent affair deemed to bring forth unity and further social economics and also bring back the Spirit that once embodied Youngstown's Market St.

This phenomenon will also be the staged used to shed light and bring attention to Melanoma. It's a rare form of skin Cancer but unfortunately it's also the Most Deadly. This unusual form of cancer is what untimely took the life of Reggae Legend, Bob Marley and many others. At this time there currently is No Cure for Melanoma; however there are reports that show the use of these "new" ingredients in sunscreen could be potentially life-saving. The FDA has Delayed approvals for these " new" ingredients in sunscreen. We would like for sponsors to support us in starting an  Awareness Day for Melanoma. Percentage of proceeds from Reggae Fest will go towards creating a Non-Profit Organization for Melanoma Awareness, Survivor Support, and a Push Coalition to force FDA to speed the process for approvals. This is not New News, President Obama has also gotten involved and signed the Sunscreen Innovation Act back in February 2014. We need to do our part and be a voice to help those who are falling short in the support department.

First Annual Reggae Fest Youngstown Ohio 2017 will be hosted by owner's of Flambeau's Live Sandra Murphy & Josh Alphonse. Alphonse is from Haiti. Murphy’s from Trinidad. They also own Flambeau’s Caribbean Take Out on Hillman Way in Youngstown. These two cook up the Best Caribbean food in Ohio while serving unique mixed drinks inside their lounge thats filled with exotic aromas, live music, and lots of cheer.

Included in this ensemble is C. Edwards President & CEO of XmarxtheSpot Ent Ltd whom will be presenting and handling the promotion and marketing for this Game Changing Event for the Youngstown Ohio area. C. Edwards hails from Baltimore, Md. by way of Atlanta, Ga. and has background in marketing, sales, musical composition, and style & beauty.
