Final Fest Music and Arts Festival,

ICT Urban Pop-Up Park, Wichita, Kansas, United States ICT Urban Pop-Up Park, Wichita, Kansas, United States

  • About the event

Final Fest is an annual event held in Wichita, KS on a "Final Friday" in the spring. In Wichita, the final Friday of the month is a day dedicated to art and culture. This day is an opportunity for local art galleries and venues to open their doors to the public to showcase the music, artistry, and talent of Wichita locals. This festival is a new event that becomes a center-piece to this beautiful occasion. We give a voice to musicians, artists, food trucks, and other businesses to showcase what Wichita, KS is really like, and inspire others to pursue and grow locality.

With any measure of your help, in any amount of funds, we will be able to turn an event, originally created in the garage of three poor college students, into a eagerly anticipated yearly celebration of art and culture in our city.

    Why should you sponsor?

We have a massive following on social media. The best we can offer is an opportunity for advertising in front of our audience. We have an enormous social media pull leading up to the event that gains hype for our patrons. Last year we reached 44.5 thousand people, and we anticipate reaching even more this year. Wichita is a tight knit community that spreads information like a wildfire, and an opportunity to address an audience as large as this is a would be considered a bargain.

I am one of three event organizers. We are all college students who are passionate about art and impact it has on the community. We are musical theater majors, garage band members, musicians, lovers-of-art, and head-strong and motivated young leaders. We strive for nothing more than to showcase our city's culture through the art it creates. As young artists ourselves, we understand that a platform where small artists can shine and be a bright light for the community can be a once in a lifetime opportunity that leads to greater success later on. We do not take lightly the impact we have on our community, but imbrace the fact that our most important time to thrive is now, as a small, young event. For it won't be long till we outgrow our space now, at which point we will truly be a beacon for artists everywhere.
