Capitalizing on the success of the zombie movement, Fear the Sliding Dead is a live action role play zombie apocalypse event that sees patrons navigating the night to see real live zombies. There's no cheesy props or cheap thrills at Fear. Live actors, huge sets such as smashed and on fire cars, as well as plenty of gore round on the 20-minute tour that seeks to scare people so badly that they can't finish the tour or are moved to tears. We achieved these goals many times over, and people loved it.
Our event sold out in minutes in 2015, and has a ticket wait list of over 400 emails. This is very rare in the Manitoba market. Our advertising went viral with tens of thousands of viewers of our video. The media picked up on the event, and in the end it was an award winning endevour.
Sponsors will get access to thousands of Manitobans, the organizers are accutely aware that customized package options are valuable, and there are a great number of opportunities to be involved in the tour.

The second annual event is hosted by Jay Hall and Desiree Joyal in partnership with a select venue (likely to be Fun Mountain). Jay Hall has over a decade experience as an event coordinator, having organized over 500+ events, ranging from nightlife to large concerts. Jay brings his marketing company, SYNC Digital Solutions to the table, maximizing promotional impact.
Desiree Joyal is a graduate of Casino and Event Management. She has held various internships and positions, and is her expertise is in the operational strategy of event management. Ms Joyal's operational management led Fun Mountain to recruit her as their GM for the 2016 summer season.
Together, the coordinators were able to sell-out and produce a successful event in 2015, that was organized in just 3 weeks! Over 100 staff and volunteers were a part of the event, and the success translated into an award as Innovative Event of the Year by Tourism Winnipeg.
