Fashion Fundraiser for Black Lives Matter,

About the event

This event is a space for Portland designers to use their art to support the Black Lives Matter movement. Capsule collections will be presented by each designer at an urban location. Ticket proceeds and all profits from the showcase will be donated to the American Civil Liberties Union. 

Why should you sponsor?

Taking place outdoors in East Portland, this event is the perfect opportunity for sponsors to reach a younger, creative audience looking to create change in our society. Sponsors will have access to Portlands upcoming generation of designers, acivists and young creatives. The event will be intimate, meaning ample opportunity for sponsors to have direct discussions with the audience and creators of the show. Striking flyers and tickets will be distributed not just to audience members but also around the city providing a robust way to gain exposure if your logo appears on our promotional papers. 

Sujena Soumyanath

My name is Sujena Soumyanath and I am a young designer and painter in Portland Oregon. The other major collaborator of this event is Maddy Cronn another upcoming fashion designer. We are working together to unite our connections with Portland's designing community, our own fashion experience, and our desire to support the Black Lives Matter movement through our art. We have received training in fashion design through numerous insitutions such as the School of the Art Institute of Chicago.
