Bring the whole gang to the Sugar Museum for Family Day, and help us celebrate our 36th birthday. Enjoy plantation games and crafts, delicious local food, museum exhibits and tours, prize giveaways, and more! Learn about Maui's sugar era and cultural heritage in a day packed with fun!
Why should you sponsor?
As a sponsor of the Sugar Museum's Family Day, news of your support will be seen by hundreds of local Maui residents and visitors. Promotion of the event will include online and print advertising, reaching all of the island of Maui as well as the global community online. Your branding and support of the event will be included in all of our marketing products, press releases, and advertising. Physical presence of your sponsorship will be placed strategically in specific areas of the festival, indoors and out.
Holly BulandLocated in an authentic 1902 sugar plantation supervisor's home, the Alexander & Baldwin Sugar Museum is a 501c3 nonprofit organization dedicated to preserving and presenting the history and heritage of the sugar industry, and the multiethnic plantation life it engendered.
Visitors to the museum learn about Maui's geography and water system, the people and events that created Hawaii's predominant industry for over a century, sugar plantation communities and plantation life, and the growing, harvesting and milling of sugar cane.
Since 1987, the Sugar Museum has received over a million visitors, and our Education Program has served nearly 60,000 students.
As a nonprofit, we support our programs and operations with income from admission fees and museum store sales, foundation grants and donations from the community. Education and service to the community are our top priorities.
