About the event

Fall for Local is an annual business to business networking event focused on local brands, collaboration and the circle economy concept. We act as a space to showcase some of the best of Vancouver’s established and emerging local shops and entrepreneurs. Our mission is simple: promote awesome local products and services by connecting local with local, sharing knowledge and organically grow the local economy from within. We give an opportunity to meet, talk and connect with others in the local business community.

Our format runs as an open house with local vendors showing their goods as well as local food and drink will be featured, giving an opportunity for guests to sample and see local product. Into its fourth year, Fall for Local has evolved from an evening soirée to a full one day event filled with talks from industry leaders, panel discussions, break out sessions and a communal long table dinner. Our next event will be held on October 22, 2015 in Vancouver, British Columbia.

Fall for Local’s inaugural event was held in Ottawa, Ontario in 2012 in collaboration with MediaStyle, a digital-first public affairs agency attracting. Our second and third event was in collaboration with Pound & Grain, a creative agency built for digital culture.
