  • About the event

    EWL Club (UK) Limited is a not for profit networking club and organisation specifically for professionals working in the UK Events Industry.

     

    EWL founded in April 2015 with the following objectives:

    • To be an inclusive membership organisation that encourages open and relaxed networking for event professionals of all levels

    • To encourage honest conversations around topical industry issues, centred on problem-solving and sharing of best practise

    • To become the ‘go to’ membership organisation for professional networking in the events industry

    • To develop great relationships between industry planners and organisers, suppliers and partners

     

    What differentiates us from other organisations and networking groups is our focus on organising intimate and informal events that centre on education, learning and best practise.

     

    We are here to support and champion our members to share knowledge, expertise and experience resulting in better networking whilst building stronger contacts and relationships.


    Our membership comprises of professionals from across the events industry and responsible for a wide range of meetings and event budgets, from entry level to CEOs and include representation from planners, agencies, freelancers and suppliers.


    Whilst currently London-centric with 275 members and growing, 60% planners and 40% suppliers, our ambition is to expand our reach nationally and we are already in the process of setting up EWL Club North, Midlands and East through the creation of regional branches and committees in other major UK cities, with an anticipated launch mid 2016.


    We welcome the opportunity of establishing relevant partnerships with key organisations who are open to supporting us on this exciting journey, and who recognise a mutual benefit in working with us to raise the profile and awareness of the EWL Club.

     

    Inevitably, our ambitions have some financial cost implications; as such we are seeking some external financial support. All of our events are self-funding as members pay a fee to attend as part of their ongoing membership to cover operational and marketing costs.

     

    Sponsorship and partnership funds will be used to:

    • Drive the proposed and continued development of EWL Club (UK), it’s management, marketing communications and operational activities.

    • Employ administration support for each proposed regional branch to support further development of the events programme and membership
