About the event
The Essex Business Women's Experience is in its third year. In 2015 we had 250 attendees, in 2016 we had 400 attendees and this year we are expecting 500 plus.
We have 65 exhibition stands, 20 workshops and networking events all day.
The event offers a truly unique opportunity to meet lots of incredible women at all stages of business development. Our sponsor include David Lloyd Leisure and the Park Inn Radisson. Our exhibitors include Barclays, Natwest, Worldpay and many woman led Essex businesses.
Our attendees may have been established for many years and looking for growth while others are primed to take their very first leap into self employment. Whatever stage these women are at, they are all looking for confidence-boosting support, collaboration and connections that will help build their professional networks and set them up for long-term.
Our venue is the whole first floor of the Park Inn Radisson Hotel by the iconic Southend Pier.
This event will lalso be run in London in 2018.

In our third year, we have a track record of attracting a good crowd of engaged women, all knowing what they are looking for.

Rosemary CunninghamI'm Rosemary Cunningham and I have had my own home based business since 93 and run four women's networking groups so have a good idea what women starting out need and want to be inspired book a day off to go to an expo.
I founded this event after visiting other trade shows and finding them uninspiring. I wanted to create an event that stimulated all the senses and left the women buzzing and raving about the day.
I thought about what I wanted from an expo and we have created a show with exciting speakers, practical workshops, great food, lots of networking with other women and an event that attracted 18 five star reviews on facebook in the week following last year.
We now want this to get to a much wider audience and sponsorship will allow us to do just that on local radio and advertising on Essex buses.
