EPRA, Leadership and Entrepreneurial Awards evening is set out to celebrate outstanding leaders and remarkable organisations, which have shown exemplary leadership core values, norms, characteristics and continuing commitment to leadership excellence.
About The Awards
The 2018 EPRA night will be a gathering of elites, intellectuals, business gurus, role model and seemingly unsung heroes who have made enormous positive impact in our society without deliberate consideration for rewards.
This event is billed to be the greatest relaxation and realization of achievements of individuals in our communities who have impacted in no small measure on the collective psyche of their immediate, national or global communities. To be precise, this event is exclusively for business leaders as they have the unique opportunity to use their powerful leadership abilities, knowledge and energy to strengthen economic status and provide resources and prospects for others who may need assistance in building and developing business. The Awards provide precisely the right environment for these corporate leaders to inter- mingle and share their experiences therefore providing valuable insight on particular aspects of the business world. Another major objective of this event is to facilitate the development of future business leaders by providing opportunities for its guests.
Our Vision
Our purpose is to inspire young Black Minority Ethnic groups introducing them to leadership, business and tech world, civil and civic responsibilities; re-orientating the minds of young future leaders, pulling millions of younger generations out of cycle poverty through aids, continuous media campaign, conferences, seminars, training and workshop.
Our Mission
Our mission is simple and very clear; we are out to make a change in our own world, thinking of what we can offer our generation by leaving a positive impact.
Awards Target Audience
The awards aim to honour the remarkable leaders and entrepreneurs who had made enormous contributions to the community without aiming at rewards -people with community spirit. The uniqueness of the award is to recognise leaders with distinct, leaders who are ready to groom the followers, transferring knowledge and power to followers.
To help us further embed the good practice we will keep organising poverty alleviation programmes for sustainability.
The proceed from the award will be used to support Fancy Foundation Trust acquisition skills projects.

Tayo Akobi JP graduated from the prestigious Obafemi Awolowo University – Ile Ife Nigeria in 2000/2001, with a Bachelor of Education degree in Social Studies then obtaining a Post graduate diploma in Broadcast Journalism at the Nigerian Institute of Journalism (2005). She worked at Gateway Broadcasting Corporation as News Editor & Reporter, an Assistant Television Producer with Silverbird Television Station, Lagos. Nigeria.
She has worked for over Eighteen years in public and private sector as a Broadcast Journalist and health promoter. Tayo served as a senior media officer for Ogun State Governor, Otunba Gbenga Daniel during which she was further nurtured on the intricacies of public administration and governance in terms of public relations, promotion of government policies and taking proactive measures to gauge public opinion about current and proposed government policies and actions.
She a Director at Fancy Media Communication Lagos before proceeding to London Metropolitan University UK, where she graduated in 2010 with a Master Degree in Mass Communication and specialised in Film Production. She worked as an independent producer at BEN Television UK where she produce and present a television talk show titled “Reality of Life”. Tayo also hold certificated degrees in Computer & Management Studies, Diploma in Leadership from Ambassador Recruitment Solution, London (2008) and Daystar Academy, Lagos (2005).
She is versatile and highly skilled in animation, non - linear editing, graphics and cinematography; her knowledge in production and post production is worthy of emulation. She is typical example of a woman describes in Proverb 31 and her passion for vocational studies have no boundary, she makes dresses, fashionable hair styles, cooks and bakes to mention but a few.
Aside her career, she is always been a woman of the people and most popularly called Fancy, she has been actively involved in various community projects ranging from youth programme to family, health, education etc. She run a foundation locally in Edmonton and Haringey called Fancy Foundation Trust with the motto “Selfless Service to Humanity”.
Particularly, the organisation liaise with other local charity organisations to deliver what we love to do best; we group under 18 for Media and IT training every Saturday at no cost, we produce programme from conception to actualization, we are happy seeing parent trusting us with their kids and our Joy is to see them attaining their goals . Tayo is a woman with a mission and vision; she believed it is easier to build strong children than to repair a broken adult.
As part of our effort to educate youth, we do host a youth talk show titled Young Offender during which the Police Commissioner, Ministry of Justice and other relevant bodies are invited to raise awareness on knife crime and reasons why we need to keep our street safe.
In 2013 we held a conference titled “Inspiring a Generation-Mind Re-orientation”. The programme was huge success; I can count on and on projects we have embarked on and those on going.
In 2015, Fancy Foundation Trust worked with Cancer Research UK, Macmillan and North Middlesex University to promote health related issues on cancer awareness which was tagged The Cancer Awareness Care Day The seminar was organised from conception to actualization by our organisation and it was a huge success. http://www.fancyfoundationtrust.org/testimonial/
We have successfully anchored quite a lot of reality talk shows on teenage pregnancy with Teen Pregnancy Specialist, Midwives Nurses, and Obstetricians with our discussion centred on Unhealthy life style in pregnancy, Drug and Alcohol Additives’, Obesity, Diabetes, Stroke, Breast Feeding, Immunisation, Parental tips etc.
We have anchor series of health talks on dementia, diabetes, mental health, depression, healthy life style, stress and other life debilitating illnesses and we also solicitude for medical resource, skills and equipment to developing countries. Despite Tayo’s tight schedule she still find time to help at the Edmonton Library to tonsupport by teach people on how to use internet, set up emails, sending and receiving mails, how to use social media and stay safe online. Tayo enjoys carrying her family along her activities for posterity.
