About the event

We have been hosting regular house parties in Bangkok for the past 8 months, attracting a diverse crowd of people who are new to Bangkok. We currently have 7 housemates who run the parties, and we have a Facebook group here of the community of guests that regularly frequent our parties.

Our next party (week of 18/02/2017) will be the first to employ a public Facebook event, which allows us to accurately pinpoint the number of guests that we are expecting. We plan to leverage the Facebook events feature to draw larger audiences over the coming months.

The aim of the parties is to facilitate connections between people living in the city. So far, we have had over 400 unique guests in attendance, many of whom have returned in subsequent weeks. We usually get between 70-150 attendees per party, and charge just 200 baht per person to make the event as accessible as possible.

We are looking for sponsors to improve our party’s experience. At the moment, with such a low fee on the door, we provide only the cheapest possible spirits and mixers. We would like to expand our offering to include beer, wine, or perhaps use a dedicated bartender to dispense drinks throughout the night. We are also interested in financing exciting novelties that can add a unique flavor to each party (e.g. decorations, performers, live music, etc.)

Why should you sponsor?

The inside of our house has a large amount of unused wall space, which could be used to advertise a brand banner. A creative and interesting design can be seen by 100+ people in a targeted demographic of expats each week.

We are planning to order around 1000 custom festival wristbands made of high-quality fabric over the next few weeks. These wristbands can be given away to keep track of payment, and will be worn repeatedly by guests, who will proudly show their allegiance to our community of partygoers. There is a high potential for interested partners to feature their brand as part of these wristbands, especially if their products feature heavily at the party.

We would like to buy a large cardboard photo frame to use for pictures to promote awareness of our parties. This could be an excellent place to display a discrete marketing message, as we anticipate that these photos will gain a large amount of future exposure. We will be taking high quality photos throughout the night of the parties, which will be uploaded to the event page on the following morning. We will tag attendees in these photos, which would then continue to

We are also interested in referring guests of our party to nearby venues once guests begin to leave. Around 50% of guests will leave the party at around 11pm-midnight to attend clubs across Bangkok. We are interested in agreeing to deals with these kind of venues, offering coupon cards for nightclubs in exchange for a referral fee.

I graduated from Harvard College in 2016, studying Economics and Computer Science. I was a high-performance rower for 8 years, and was originally born in York, England.

I moved out to Thaild last August to explore a start-up idea, and have since been highly active in the expat community. I met a group of friends at a house party early on who would later become my housemates. We are all excited to connect people who are new to Bangkok, as we also had the experience of coming to a new city alone.
