EG47TheRapper to Release New Age Music Mix
Eric G. Promotional Mixtape Will Debut May 19

EG47TheRapper has announce the release of his promotional mixtape on May 19. The production will feature New Age music composed and performed by Eric G, also known as EG47TheRapper. A series of promotional videos debuted on March 8th and have accumulated more than 60,000 views. 


“I am pleased to announce the upcoming EG47TheRapper mixtape, and am honored that so many are following my music as it evolves. It is a blend of overcoming depression and New Age that I believe many of my fans identify with,” stated Eric G.

Eric got his start at the age of 16 when he began to creatively release his feelings of depression and isolation. At first, the compositions were poems that focused on being misplaced and misunderstood. 
The poet enrolled in UC Riverside at the age of 17. One year later, he hooked up with Gluck and helped youngsters understand poetry. Diagnosed with depression, Eric found solace in forming a band but it did not live up to his dreams. At the age of 22, he graduated college and moved on to a corporate job. The job did not live up to his dreams either so he forsook all for a path less traveled and pursued his heart’s desire. Eric G’s poems evolved into songs and EG47TheRapper was on his way to becoming the New Age music icon that he is today.
The musician has been noted by many for his music that touches many. The evidence is apparent in such expressions as those that appear online. “I’ve been waiting for this all year,” wrote one of EG47TheRapper fans recently on the YouTube comment section in response to the mixtape preview.

EG47TheRapper aims to become the voice of the misplaced and misunderstood. To many youths are at risk these days because of the cause of confusion and anxiety. Whether it be bullying or lack of a source of love; many kids are looking for the wrong thing in the wrong places. 

EG47TheRapper found all the wrong things at the right times. He was able to take all his misfortunes and turn them into something positive by putting his experiences into music. 

This chance would have never made itself available if someone didn't bring it to light. EG47TheRapper wants to be that person for the next generation. 

Eric Guevara

Eric G. had a vision since he was a little boy. He came up with the concept of the Misplaced Thug at the age of 16. He would go on to write poetry that focused on Misplaced and Misunderstood people. His stories would follow storylines that derived from isolation and depression. At the age of 17 he choose to attend UC Riverside. At the age of 18 he became a Gluck Member and would help young kids at elementary schools understand poetry. 

At the age of 19 he was diagnosed with depression. At the age of 20 he formed a group, "Dime-In-Affect" that didn't meet the dream he had envisioned. Eric graduated from UC Riverside in 2013 and gave up on his passion. He went into the corporate world where he worked to pay of his student loans.

In 2016, Eric traveled to Bogota Colombia and with new influences; he parted ways with his job and follow his dream.
